Fun little game. Feels like an RTS on rails. If you are looking for something brainless but still want to scratch your strategy itch Aeon Command will work. With multiplayer you can get some replay ability but the campaign alone is worth playing. There is also skrimish mode, I will leave it up to you how far you go with that. It tracks your wins vs losses, so it feels competitive even if its not. Aeon Command comes across as a competitive RTS in the form of a casual simulator. You can feel like a pro with out much effort. You can tell its a mobile port just based on the tap bonus mechanic. You are gonna play Aeon Command because you want a break from your main game. Its not trying overly hard to be a PC game, its just really good at pretending to be an online PC game and thats the charm.2 found this helpful

One of the game's strongest qualities is the way it simplifies familiar strategy mechanics without completely removing depth. Instead of spending large amounts of time constructing bases and managing numerous structures, players focus on deploying units, gathering resources, and maintaining battlefield momentum. Combat continuously shifts back and forth as opposing forces clash across battle lanes, creating a constant sense of pressure. Decisions feel important because every acti…
Better than Star Wars
It's essentially a Tower Defense style game where you're trying to maintain a position, with some tug-of-war style stuff going on. My notes simply say "Meh, it's alright," so it's hard to figure out exactly what my really true thoughts are... But, I'm catching up on my reviews. They won't all be awesome.
