After Dark VR

"After Dark VR" is a janky, abandoned Early Access VR exclusive co-op survival horror game, you know, where you wander around and get jumpscared and do some little "first person adventure game" activities to pass the level. It didn't catch on due to poor production qualities and the questionable decision to make the game VR exclusive, as well as what may well be a lot of asset flipping/plagiarism. The developers abandoned this 2 years and 9 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is…

Don't waste your time playing this game. As of me writing this the game has been dead, there is however a setting to enable bots but the bots are incredibly stupid. It was a great idea but it didn't turn out well.

It's sad to see that this was last updated 3 years ago. The game is dead, I checked the Steam Charts to see I was literally the only person in the world in this game right now. No one is playing this game and I can't play it with friends because it's exclusively VR, no PC version. It's good but if you wanna play this you're gonna have to do it with bots by yourself. Oh, but my apologies. Bots don't work. I tried it several times. Playing as the killer, no survivor bots show up at all. The map is completely empty. Want to be survivor? Too bad. Can't be survivor with only bots. The game is literally unplayable unless ALL your friends have a VR Headset that can run Steam Link.

Not Fun I Hate This Game 0/10 Don't Play

This Game could've been really cool, I bought it a few days after it came out. I played it a couple times but it was very buggy and you can only play if you have enough friends to fill the lobby. The devs completely abandoned this game. I hope they have a good reason for doing so because they released a couple updates and never did another thing. Then I notice the game is free? Feels like a big FU to those who tried to support the devs early on.
