So... First, I actually had a chat with the game author after I first played it. He's actually a comic book creator, this his first attempt at a game, and it shows... The game presentation is awful, and I mean really awful. It took me a while to understand how to start a game, all the UIX features of the game are really horrible. But once you get past of that.... the game is a chaotic run'n'gun in a way I wouldn't expect after the tutorial/menu screens. Every new level introduces some new feature/enemy/mechanic, halfway the game changes genre completely. Every time I beat a level I got a new surprise on the next one, which really kept me going level after level. And, well, it has some janky but, overall, it's very fun to play in a zany way. You are thrown back and forth by the enemies while you have midair control (You can even double jump after being bumped by an enemy), so you are trying to avoid getting hit by enemy fire and also being bumped by enemies, which is actually a lot of fun. The game has lots of interesting ideas, it does lack some polish (well, a lot of polish), but at this price range? I've played a lot of really bad games on Steam. This isn't bad.
