Ai Love serves as the prologue work of the series project Before The Rainbow, developed by 律合 Works in their spare time out of passion as an AVG (Interactive Fiction) game.The project aims to facilitate technical exchange and entertainment through playful references, functioning as both a practical example and a (not-so) serious AVG game for players to enjoy. This game is very much incomplete in English, so much so that you have no chance of completing it and/or getting 100% achievements13 found this helpful
The story places you in the shoes of a man working at an internet company. One day, while walking down the street, a girl accidentally bumps into him and spills water all over his pants. She quickly hands him a business card for a café, inviting him to drop by for a free coffee. But once you meet the café owner, you begin to wonder if it might be time to take a break from your stressful job. When it comes to visual novels, the first thing to check is whether the game includes the expected quality-of-life features, most importantly, saving at any time and skipping previously read text. This title provides both. Personally, I’d prefer if the skip function were only unlocked after completing the game once, but I understand that some players might find parts of the story dull. Saving works across multiple slots, and there are convenient quick-save and quick-load buttons directly under the text box. Speaking of which, the text box can be freely moved anywhere on the screen by dragging it with the left mouse button. That's all well and good, but if English is declared, then translate everything into English. And then where "mini-games" are simply impossible to pass normally.
