An adventure game in which you solve the mystery of a case hidden in an authentic mystery novel.With an emphasis on the classic mystery question "who done it?", the objective of the game is to unravel the true culprit who caused the incident.
Concept: unravel the mystery of the novel
The game is divided into a Reasoning Section and a Solution Section. In the Reasoning Section, you can obtain keys (logic keys) to solve mysteries from mystery novels.In the Solution Section, the player must use the logic key to solve the mystery, and the game is completed when the only person who can commit the crime is proven.
How to Play
Reasoning Section 1: Select keywords from the novel
Select clues (keywords) from the text of the mystery novel to solve the mystery.\
From the keywords, select a hypothesis by reasoning to solve the mystery of the case.↓↓.
Selecting a deduction hypothesis will earn the corresponding logic key.Solution Section 1: Build up your reasoning
Proceed to deduce based on the logic key and assemble a deductive hypothesis to solve the truth.Solution Section 2: Nominate the culprit
Once the materials to derive the culprit are available, the name of the culprit can be specified. The game is cleared if the only person capable of committing the crime can be proven.Character Introduction

As for the actual content, I liked how open-ended the reasoning part appeared to be, but the way you have to collect your answers from the text mostly just amounted to lots of tedious backtracking because you didn't bring the exact logic key the game wanted to show a specific idea. Pair that with no real rollback feature and you've got no choice but to click yourself through the same chapters repeatedly. Can't even skip because then you might miss the part you meant to go to and have to start over. It's surprisingly barebones on that front considering the player is pretty much expected to navigate the text multiple times. The logic and deductions did end up being pretty neat once you got past that though.2 found this helpful
