Great puzzle/detective game. Story was interesting, graphics were good, sound was good. This isn't a hidden object game, which it was marketed as when I bought it. That said, I didn't even realise while playing because I was enjoying it so much. The puzzles are good, not too hard & not too easy. Had me using the hint button a few times, but luckily that doesn't count towards your achievements. Only 2 things to mention in the cons list, the voice acting was a touch awkward at times & the game isn't very long. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

I thought it was ok, I wouldn't call it great but I also wouldn't call it horrible. If you have some time to spend and it's on sale maybe get it

It's not fantastic, but it's not quite an ipad shovelware game lazily converted to PC, either. The animations combining photographic elements are particularly goofy, the direction the story goes to is truly ridiculous and I can't help but think only takes that turn so that the developers can justify a certain type of mechanical puzzle design that doesn't need to follow any kind of logic. The voice acting, though at least professionally recorded, is so wooden that at first I thought it must be AI until I saw the publish date. What's really frustrating though is all the puzzles or "mini-games" that are less puzzles and more exercises in tedium. What I mean by that is that you'll be presented with a problem a solve and some simple buttons to press, and the solution will be immediately obvious ("match the top screen with the bottom screen") but you'll have to press the same button 20 times to get there. And because there's an animation for each button press you can't just quickly spam through it. Eventually I just turned on the "skip mini-game" option. Not all mini-games are like that but as the game goes on more and more of them are. All that said, there's a certain charm to it, i…

I encountered a bug that prevented me finishing the game. The item was visible in the scene but would disappear when you zoomed in so I couldn't do the puzzle that allowed me to proceed. The story is not terrible. I had no issue with the art style but a few NPC art was a bit ugly. If you can get it for few bucks, I'd say go for it, but again while not impressive, it's not terrible.

This was an OK adventure game. I thought it was a hidden object adventure game from the style, but there was actually no hidden object scenes. It was a pure adventure game, and judging it by that standard it falls quite a bit short. it was entertaining, but only as much as a hidden object adventure game, nowhere near on the level of a serious adventure game like monkey island or myst.

This is more point & click adventure than HOG, but both aspects are included in form of pixel hunting. Prepare for pixel hunting on behalf of clueless mountain town who can't get anything done without our heroine who just stopped to help in murder investigation. Some puzzles are utterly ridiculous (I'm looking at you "Scaring the Rat" puzzle). First quarter is best in game and when we come to game's last quarter all logic flies out of window and there's feeling should've you even bother.
