This game is more like a story rather than a mystery. You barelly do any deductions, everything is already layed out for you, the game holds your hand the entire time it is the most un fun game i have played in the mystery genre. There are many indie developers doing much better games.1 found this helpful
Fun enough but not that much like a detective game. Plots are pretty good to immerse myself in, and the observation and thinking part are also functional and interesting, sometimes difficult. It will be an enjoyable experience if you regard this game just as an interactive novel.
Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders stands as a highly polished and faithful adaptation of the classic detective novel, translating the intricate narrative into an engaging adventure game. Stepping into the shoes of the iconic Hercule Poirot, the experience revolves around solving a series of clever murders by analyzing crime scenes, questioning witnesses, and collecting vital clues. Fun and engaging! Not too tricky, and manages to capture what makes Poirot so fun.
So the last quarter of the story is good, but nothing super unexpected... I think some conclusions aren't very well reasoned... It has some puzzles besides the investigation, let's say, which sometimes feel slow and clumsy... so I think the game isn't worth playing... (the achievements are annoying, you need at least 2 playthroughs since there's no chapter selection, so if you don't do it right you'll need another run... haha)
Cool game!!!!!
