Alien Cat 7

Alien Cat 7 is a 2D retro pixel game. It's less of a platformer and more of an action puzzle game. Instead of traditional platformer mechanics, you jump from box to box after they land. The boxes drop exactly where you stand so you must keep moving. Some boxes destroy others, so you must move in such a way that the boxes stack up sufficiently to give you a path to the exit. As far as game concepts go, it's one I haven't seen and it's inventive. The problem is just in the implementation. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution is locked, so the game falls below acceptable standards for PC. Novel idea aside, the quality here is too low for this to be recommendable.
