Alien cat 4 is a side-scrolling shooter. The game takes place in a nearby galaxy where a fighter with intergalactic evil in the form of a black cat has settled down. The player is assigned the role of a pilot of one of the warring parties. You will take part in a series of aerial conflicts. You will be waiting for dangerous air battles, the task is very simple to stop the invaders and restore justice. The game has a system of improvements and various bonuses, picking them up from the dead ships, you can pump your standard weapons from a simple machine gun to a rocket launcher.

If you are anything like me, you've probably played dozens of vertical and horizontal scrolling space shooters over the years. Alien Cat 4 doesn't work like most other space shooters, and I'm reasonably certain that it's a good thing. Interestingly, I can see that the game has been tagged as a "bullet hell," which isn't really accurate. The hellish aspect of this game is that it doesn't work on simple patterns like most other shooters. Bullet hell shooters are literally all about finding the small safe spaces on the screen whilst dozens of bullets whiz past in predictable patterns. Alien Cat 4 isn't like that at all. Alien Cat 4 is about engaging with waves of enemies, every single on of which is not operating based on a pre-set pattern, but is actually equipped with AI and is capable of finding and shooting directly at you at any point. This means you're not dodging patterns of bullets and counterattacking, you're frantically dodging enemies who are just as good at the game as you, if not better, and all of whom make the most of their limited ammo by sniping you with pinpoint accuracy.
