I played the demo. I liked the demo. I purchased this game because of the demo and the "cool" looking graphics and style. And then... I quickly discovered a lesson I've learned long ago with games. "Don't judge a book by its cover" While this game seems to take its inspiration from the movie "World War Z" and it has frantic, fast, and relentless zombies... it quickly turns into nothing more than running in circles kiting the zombies over and over and over and over and over and over. "Zombie Kiting 2020" would have been a much more fitting name for this game that in the end is about as shallow at that ditzy blonde we all knew in high school. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4fgvOJtdLo&feature=youtu.be I really did want to like this game. But it just fades too fast and lacks any depth what-so-ever and this makes it lose it's initial luster very quickly. - There are no power-ups, no different guns to buy or earn, no character upgrades of any kind, nothing to craft, no bosses, no real progression that makes you feel like you're advancing in any way. Ugh. - While I understand this is a zombie shooter, some kind of story and reason for why we are here would help - Three maps…19 found this helpful
I got this game for free and frankly, the price this game is set to, I wouldn't recommend it, not even 1 euro. This game has so many flaws, unless you really want a serious challenge due to the lack of proper gameplay mechanics, I'd only recommend avoiding it. Can't sprint, jumping is weird, like a jump dodge. When firing your rifle it goes from thirdperson into firstperson instantly, and for a game where you must outrun AI, it only slows you down. Horrible cel-shading graphics, older games 20 years ago delivered better (like Jet Set Radio, 2000). The audio from the AI zombies is annoying and loops for 5-6 seconds the same, and is a mixture of sounds, even a small amount of child microphone squeaking can be heard, which is horrendous on a loop. Then there is the worst: The game text starts in chinese, imagine being an english buyer, on an english store like steam and the games default language isn't english. Now if the developer would fix and change these things, then the game would be worth for some players out there.5 found this helpful
All Of ZHEM is a Digital Homicide style asset flip. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. I think in fairness there's probably a couple of original assets here, but it's hard to tell because everything is very low quality. As always one of the hallmarks of an asset flip is when the assets are mismatched, and while this isn't a 1:1 copy + paste of an entire asset pack, it's got all the same problems as one. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. The assets this time have been arranged into a really basic, low quality third person wave survival shooter where you shoot waves of samey zombie assets. It's incredibly shallow stuff. There's no Eng…3 found this helpful
