Set in Nanakayama, it depicts "what comes next" for the three heroines from the original. Festival chaos, shopping dates, quiet afternoons together—the game is built squarely around the sweet daily life shared with your girlfriend. The game uses a multi-choice, single-ending structure. Tsundere Kazuha lets her guard down in private; cheerful Kogane's sudden gentleness one-on-one is irresistible; Yashiro's occasional candid moments carry an outsized punch. The series' signature cute anime art carries through, and all heroines are voiced by professional Japanese talent. The game assumes prior knowledge of the original, and the Steam release does not include Japanese text. Volume is modest at a few hours. For players with an attachment to the heroines from the first game, this is a sequel worth enjoying. Amanatsu+ is a solid fandisc, but it is overly sweet. I honestly struggled to read it for more than about an hour at a time. The comedy isn't as good as the original and it is further spread out so there isn't as much of a palate cleanser as I'd like. Music is largely the same, there's nearly no drama again - which is nice at times - and the girls are cute. Hopefully you read the original Amanatsu recently, or reread it, because there will be nearly no retreading of what happened in the original routes. The "plot" scenes are lengthy, but well-written, with five of them per heroine present. It isn't too long, taking me just under 10 hours to read (rest of the time spent idling doing other stuff). Honestly, not a whole lot to say about this one. Did you enjoy the original game? Then pick this up, but know it's going to be incredibly sweet.
