STORY
Haruto leaves the big city for a coastal town surrounded by blue sea and deep-green mountains. Hailing from the rat race of urban society, he half-expects another uphill challenge in a new battlefield.
...But nothing could be further from the truth.
Right from day one, he is befriended by new classmates and quickly learns to sit back and enjoy life―all while getting to know three very different girls who inspire in him another kind of sea change.
There’s Kazuha, the taciturn daughter of the family that takes him in, who’s lowkey the perfect host...
Kogane, the always sunny, high-energy first-year he meets through a sudden and dramatic encounter...
And Yashiro, a shrine-maiden third-year with a silly streak, who’s like nothing out of this world...
Here Haruto’s friendships and romance will interweave as a unique student love story unfolds. Over one dazzling summer, one girl’s affections will bloom from nascent butterflies into deepest love.
CHARACTERS
Kazuha Ainokura Yukari Aoyama
A second-year student like Haruto and the daughter of relatives on his mother’s side. She has a strong-willed personality and can be a bit stubborn, often displaying a tough exterior.
Their relationship starts off somewhat awkwardly due to initial misunderstandings and having to live under the same roof. However, she has a fundamentally caring nature, often looking out for him, especially considering his recent move as a newcomer.
Kogane Amahara Hana Akino
A girl one year below Haruto who gets along with everyone but never really seems to let people in. For better or worse, the distance she keeps only adds to her idol-like appeal and has won her plenty of male and female fans alike.
Always the type to enthusiastically join in on anything fun, showcasing excellent athletic prowess and even helping out at various school clubs. Her inclusive and easygoing nature allows her to engage in playful banter with just about anyone she meets.
Yashiro Kaminashi Roro Amari
A girl who’s one year above Haruto and also a priestess at the Nanakayama Shrine. Her distinct sensibilities often see her spending time alone, although many of her male classmates are enchanted by her good looks and cool demeanor.
Though she doesn’t express her emotions too openly, at heart, she cares for all those around her. Forever a daydreamer, she can sometimes be slow to catch on.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's high production quality, artwork, and voice acting, but find the story generic and shallow with a passive, uninteresting protagonist that undermines the experience. Common complaints include formulaic routes, rushed romance progression, and character writing that feels like wish fulfillment without depth, though some players appreciate the relaxed slice-of-life atmosphere and find certain character routes charming enough to enjoy despite these issues.
Couldn't make it through the common route. Super generic and boring but has great artwork and voice acting. MC moves to town and within one day gets all three beauties under his thumb without trying. Looked up the CGs and called it a day. The three male side characters were beyond awful. The MC is boring. The three heroines were nothing special but I would pick the silver haired by default. The aunt doesn't even have a portrait.1 found this helpful
This game has great artwork and you can see that the production quality is high. Unfortunately that's all the good I can say about this game. The game actually started off well and I was liking it in the common route. All that went into the trash once I started Kogane's route. The MC became so insufferable that I couldn't bear to complete any other routes. "Ah I have no idea how to interact with the girls" is his whole gimmick. They made the MC so uninteresting that I have no interest in playing the other girls' route.1 found this helpful
Lovely art. I hope we see amakano on steam someday.
It's not bad by any means but it just doesn't really mesh very well. Cousin incest is the primary heroine and while the romance is cute it's hardly ever brought up in a route where there are scenes complaining about a lack of drama. Every route feels formulaic. For some reason every character calls the MC onii-chan at some point. MC is also one of the least attractive characters ever. He never grows out of his whole embarrassed self completely. Plus these kids are discussing marriage within a week. It just feels like teenage me wrote a wish fulfillment piece on how love works as a teen without ever critiquing it at all. It's a very childish and shallow exploration of love. The music and sprites are unique. The H scenes have very little actual meaningful moments to them. All in all it's some really basal navel gazing into summer romance concepts, it has very little to offer besides mindless fun.
Pretty decent dating sim. Played the Kazuha route, and she was very cute had a good arc. My only real complaint is that they nerfed the clothing, so that it doesn't match the dialog at points even though it would be fine from a game rating point of view. It's not like the clothes were risque. Other than that it was fun and hit me in the feels.
Omg, where to start? I genuinely enjoyed every bit of this (A)VN, from start to finish, all routes possible. But first things first: I am a European Citizen and do not know much about Japanese Culture or Romance Rules or what not, so I cannot judge how accurate the little things here and there are. But I can tell you this: It felt all natural to a certain degree, not forced romance. The humor of the characters are great, it feels like a real group of friends to begin with. 3 girls, 3 routes, no harem - and this is perfectly fine. Each Love interest has its unique character, her own personality and approach to romance. I enjoyed the Kazuha path the most, followed by Yashiro and Kogane. Kazuha's Path felt the most natural one, both in the same class, teasing each other all the time until one realizes that there is more to that than just the casual fun. Yashiro's Path is interesting not because she is one year older than the MC, but because of her sometimes naive behavior, or that is what she wants everybody to believe. Kogane is fun because of her cheerfulness, but behind the facade she is a woman with complex feelings and sorrows. The one downside of her path is the …
