Amigo Fishing is a VR game about hunting for fish in the deep sea. The game is set in a mysterious deep-sea region bursting with coral and aquatic life.
In the game, you can choose different equipment and weapons and use different kinds of ammunition. While fishing you can charge up your energy gun, and when the king of the ocean is stirred, a huge wave of fish will surge out, after which you can use your assassin’s sword to collect a whole boatful of fish. When you hear the loud call of the giant whale, prepare to face your destiny…
How to play
Every fisherman is equipped with two special weapons. The weapons will upgrade as they are used and unlock other accessory slots. Via upgrading weapons, completing missions and catching certain kinds of fish, the player can gain access to special accessories. By combining various different accessories you can create your own fishing strategies suited to your own playstyle, to increase your skill at fishing in general or to target certain kinds of fish in particular.
The game features over twenty different kinds of fish. Each fish is unique in terms of appearance, speed, difficulty to catch and other special characteristics. Some can be caught head on, while others form groups which you can capture all at once if you cast your net from the side. More exciting fishing tactics await you when you visit this mysterious and bountiful deep-sea region.

"Amigo Fishing" is absolutely not a free game. This is a garbage "fish shooting" VR minigame wrapped around a toxic mobile app style cash shop. The monetisation here is so disgusting that you have to pay per bullet that you shoot fish with. What is the purpose of this train wreck? So people can experience what it's like to be a mobile gaming peasant and use a mobile app cash shop in VR??? What do you do in the game? Run out of bullets, pay the developers cash money to buy more. Toxic. The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 10 concurrent players..…1 found this helpful

Графика, хоть и мультяшная, приятная глазу, а звуковое сопровождение ненавязчивое. Из плюсов стоит отметить легкость освоения, отсутствие сложной системы управления, интуитивно понятный интерфейс. Процесс улучшения снастей мотивирует продолжать играть. Забавно наблюдать, как растет улов и появляется более редкая рыба. Однако, стоит отметить и некоторую однообразность игрового процесса. Со временем ловля рыбы, пусть и разных видов, может приесться. Отсутствует какой-либо сюжет или более сложные цели. Безусловно, хотелось бы видеть больше контента и разнообразия в будущем. В целом, 'Amigo Fishing' – это хорошая казуальная игра, чтобы убить время. Она не претендует на звание шедевра, но определенно способна доставить удовольствие своим простым, но затягивающим геймплеем. Рекомендовать могу тем, кто ищет незамысловатую игру, чтобы расслабиться и отдохнуть.
