About Anamnesia - part 1: am i my body?

Can you find the truth?
Nine people wake up trapped in an abandoned research facility. Split into three teams, separated into different halls, the members of the two Answer Teams need to compete in a game of life and death. The goal: to figure out the "truth" behind the secret member of the Question Team: Emilia.

Do you really want to?
Each part of Anamnesia will cover the same timeframe from the perspective of a different protagonist. Part 1 centers around Adrian, a member of Answer Team A. Will he manage to uncover the secrets hidden deep within himself in order to learn the truth and get out alive? Or, much more importantly: does he even want to?

Find your own truth.
Throughout the story you can scroll up at any time to check Adrian's log: a recording of all conversations he has previously witnessed, stored on a chip in his brain. Maybe doing so can reveal hidden details he missed...

Key Features:
  • Roughly 70,000 words (4-6 hours) of mostly linear storytelling
  • A complete character arc as part of a larger narrative
  • Unique in-universe interpretation of the genre-typical backlog feature
  • An original soundtrack and beautiful artwork

Absolutely mind blowing. Great mystery, great characters and character development. Love the art, love the premise. Almost addicting. 100% recommend!

Very fun read. Got some heavy Zero Escape vibes (in the best way possible), while the story still felt entirely like its own thing. Plus its free! I'm really looking forward to the future parts, and would be happy to pay for those as well.

The plot doesn't fully make sense to me but the story works regardless? Kind of like Zero Escape, the rules may be forced for the plot and the context explanation may feel unnatural (maybe the other arcs will fix that, but as of now I just don't get why the in-game game had to happen), but the characters and their issues and interactions are interesting. I also really liked that the log is part of the universe and can be used and cheated (I'm explaining poorly but: if someone talks next to your sleeping character, you won't hear it, but you can go back and read it because his ears registered it. Everyone acknowledges it and it adds a level of immersion.)
