Anamnesia - part 1: am i my body?

a good way of tricking yourself into reading for five and a half hours straight

this was my second playthrough cuz i forgot a big chunk of the story from my first one. ok, maybe i should start by saying that sci-fi isn’t my cup of tea, so there were terms i was simply not familiar with. some i knew by the definition but not how they might look visually. well, that was totally on me. i still understood the plot just fine. the thing is… i’m not quite sure if i liked it? like i didn’t hate it, nor did it move me in any way, which was probably why i forgot most of it in the first place. i did love the characters, though. each of them felt real and relatable, especially adrian. he’s the type of character i’d hate at first only to realize later that he pisses me off so much because he reminds me of myself. and yeah, it’s always a humbling experience. the ending was a bit anticlimactic, unfortunately, but i get that this is more like a prologue than anything. to be honest, i’m not really curious of what happens next, but if part 2 ever comes out, i’ll tune in.

absolutely gorgeous. beautiful, haunting, thought-provoking, practically everything i want in a game. genuinely challenged my own worldview/attitude. i will be thinking about this for a while. thank you. can't wait for part 2.

Absolutely mind blowing. Great mystery, great characters and character development. Love the art, love the premise. Almost addicting. 100% recommend!

Very fun read. Got some heavy Zero Escape vibes (in the best way possible), while the story still felt entirely like its own thing. Plus its free! I'm really looking forward to the future parts, and would be happy to pay for those as well.
