I feel like they missed the mark on this. The game is fantastic in a way, but each match is too short. More depth, have the matches be more like 80+ turns each, and it would be exceptional. As it is...the matches don't have enough moves, which limits the possible options and strategies. I like the general bones of the game, but it's just the bones of what it could have and should have been. You need to hustle bam bam BAM as fast as you can, there's not enough build up of the sides. If there's an Anti-hero 2, I'll definitely be looking closely at it. If it's longer matches, I'll almost certainly buy it. But if it's just more of the same short matches with so few turns...I'd give it a pass.

Came back to this yet again after well over a year. Still very charming artistically. Still very enjoyable to play. Still rather disappointing in terms of content. I would suggest that the full price is quite excessive, (especially considering online matches are nigh impossible to find) but it is still a lovely little game with a lot of character and enough enjoyment in it's limited single player content to have coaxed me back more than once.

Scouting is bugged. Does not let you chose directions so you`ll end up scouting 2 tiles instead of 3.

This exactly is what I was looking for. Easy to learn, hard to master. Use the campaign for learning basics. Then tweak the skirmish settings… and all hell breaks loose!!
