Anti-drug computer game for schoolchildren. “Antinarkomania” belongs to the genre of arcades with elements of the puzzle genre, which implies both high dynamics of the game and the need to think about the constantly arising complex situations and carefully plan their actions for their resolution. The game has an interesting and relevant story, extraordinary gameplay, aimed at creating the maximum dynamics of what is happening, and the development of imaginative thinking of the player, is fully dedicated to the theme of the fight against drugs and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, in which there is no place for drugs. In a happy drug-free country Antinarkomania everything was wonderful: adults went to work, children went to school, and toddlers played in the yards. This game changed my life. From the moment i clicked "play" on steam i knew this was going to be my game of the year but when the music started playing, i cried. It was so incredibly beautiful. The title screen was intricately crafted to make the best user experience possible and thats not even talking about the gameplay! In a world without hope being wrought with terror and despair due to a drug, 3 heroes (Schoolboy, Schoolgirl and Inspector) set out on a journey to defeat this evil and maybe even find friendship throughout the journey. Please if you have not played this game, play it now. It will change your life forever.

this game FREAKING SUCKS! theres no point in playing it at all, there is no story, the gameplay sucks, the puzzles SUCK, and I HATED IT! the songs were kind of good though.. and the graphics were good.. but also, if the message of the game was to stop doing drugs, it did NOT succeed! It was freaking TERRIBEL! I Feel like doing drugs even more now becaus of how badly this game freaking suckwed. The only message I got was to kill all homeless people, which is NOT a good message to send to the children! GRRRR!! Do NOT even THINK about PLAYING THSI for a second!

"Antinarkomania" is a weird one... this looks like it was a professionally developed C-grade product designed to go direct to bargain bins, but is instead somehow free on Steam. Well, it's always nice when professionally developed games are free, but this is hardly an award winner. The developers themselves admit this is in many ways a ripoff of Blizzard's weird offspring that they kept locked in the attic when people would visit, The Lost Vikings. Gameplay is derived from that but there's a nonsensical plot about fighting drug cartels with three characters that are an unlikely team up to fight drug cartels. Whatever message this narrative might have hoped to send is more lost than the Lost Vikings. The Lost Vikings was a 2D side scrolling adventure game where you would need to switch between three different characters so solve various puzzles. Each character had their own ability, like jumping higher than the others, or having a big shield, etc. Similar premise here, only not as good as The Lost Vikings. The weird thing about this is that it's free, but Strategy First are best known for shovelware cash grabs, so this is a real head scratcher. The graphics in this game are…

To be absolutely clear: I do not recommend that you play this game, unless competent if mildly boring Lost Vikings clones are your thing. I did complete it and it was okay-ish but hardly worth wasting a few hours on. But I would like you to appreciate and be inspired by the fact that a game made in the aughts at the request of a Russian anti-drug agency is still up on Steam, is free and even receiving occasional updates, long after the aforementioned agency went belly up. In spite of it being a piece of state propaganda, the game is actually very subversive: when the protagonists begin to encounter anthropomorphic rats and giant spiders, it becomes rather obvious that they have joined the war on drugs on the side of drugs. Oh, and it has some banger jazzy tunes too.
