About Apotheker
Apotheker is a story-driven logic puzzle game where you must learn the delicate art of potion-brewing through thoughtful use of ingredients, tools, and funds. Use your resources in the most efficient way possible to maximize your profits for every potion - alternatively, what exactly would happen if you gave fermented slugs and cigarette ashes to help soothe a baby? Science is all about experimentation, after all!

Add ingredients to your cauldron to change the effects of your creation. One may never be enough - every addition comes with unintended effects that must be balanced. But remember, the more you add, the more unstable your mixture becomes!

Use the tools at your disposal to modify your ingredients to better suit your needs. Sure, you could just add that mighty banana, but wouldn't it be more useful if you fermented it, diluted it, or blended it to draw out it's power? Each ingredient can offer endless possibilities, so be sure to get your money's worth!

As your popularity grows, you'll see many new faces come into your shop, all of which having different intentions for your potions - will you sympathize with the downtrodden, or brew for the highest bidder? Who will you support when violence is tearing the city apart? Will you keep your head down, or stand up for what's right?

Hidden gem - STRONG RECOMMENDATION Personally I don't like management games much. Or potionmakers (pet peeve about witches, especially 'cute' ones) But this game is something different, and I really loved ! The short: Play with lots of freedom in choosing from a huge range of plain-to-extraordinary ingredients and tools, to make lots of potions in the old potion-makers shop in the village, to save your old granny from dying. Explosions will happen! Disgusting and weird potions will also happen!! Pleasant and unstressed. Can be played in short stretches or longer. Replayability. No bugs or glitches, works fine on even simple gear and mouse. Three levels of difficulty - I tried easy and normal. Both were very calm and pleasant experiences, no time pressure, all potions can be redone if not working out. And your shop will stay standing even after explosions ;-) And there's an endless mode too :-) Looks sort of like a shop management game, but is really more of a quest solving puzzly sort of game with quite a bit of underlying story. But all action happening in-store. Choices matter a bit, in the here and now, though less I think for the overarching story as such…4 found this helpful
Very cute, sweet and cozy. Has a lot of charm and humour. You can tell love went into making it.
I like it! Very sweet art style :)
Similar to Strange Horticulture , unfortunately much simple and without cat .
More people should know about this game!! It's cozy and chill with nice music and satisfying crafting mechanics. I played the game in casual mode and finished the story in 3 hours. There is still endless mode after that but I missed having customers visit me in the store (it happens but not nearly as often.) It's nice seeing how your customers react to your potions. There are also some dialogue choices which is a nice touch and feels more interactive.
This was an absolute delight of a puzzle game, it had me scratching my head at times, but finding solutions, creative ones at that was a satisfying experience.
