A simple but nice concept for a tower defense rougelike. The music is surprisingly nice and the art style is in the right direction! As for the gameplay, I'd say it works fantastically well for a landmark on what it can be in the future, but I believe there are a few drawbacks: - I'd love to see more movement options as a means to avoid damage and get into the fight quicker. Stuff like a dodge, jump, or even movement upgrades would heavily increase actual action time of the game. - More diversity in upgrades would also enforce the specific genres the game is in (maybe instead of the slam you could use a bow and arrow for big single damage at a far distance, a shield to block incoming attacks or stunning them with a parry, maybe even a ritual idol which gives your walls temporary immunity or buffs your friendly NPCs with more damage/attack speed) - The icon and key for starting the wave needs to change imo, it took me 3 waves to mentally stop myself from accidentally pressing it thinking it was either the jump key or something else - This comes without saying but it could also use a lil bit of optimization, my PC is decent (especially for this small of a game) and it did have mome…

neat little game the exponential scaling on upgrades gets a little silly into endless, but i think thats fine. it does make the golems completely useless just cuz they are so expensive to upgrade and their cost makes them less effective than pure swarm tactics, which is a bummer cuz i was so excited to unlock them. pretty similar complaint with the towers you cant upgrade them so they seem pointless later. Runs surprisingly well I think I had like 200 troops by the time I got bored and stopped and I didn't notice any lag. overall real good i hope more people find this :3

Solid game, just needs a few tweaks! It’s definitely worth it considering the price, and the resource progression gives it solid replay value. I do have a few quick suggestions to make it even better though if you're interested: Pacing: Let us spawn the next wave immediately after clearing a round so we aren't standing around waiting. Player Engagement: Give us something active to do mid-round while troops fight, or deepen the actual combat mechanics. More Cryptids: The current roster is great, but expanding it with icons like the Chupacabra or Nessie would be awesome. I’m really enjoying it so far and can't wait to see the Wendigo! P.S Make the game a little more of a challenge please!

Fun game, but here's some improvements! I'll start off by saying overall, the game is great for the price, and I can easily see the replayability with the resource increase mechanic, but there are a few things that I think could be improved: - I don't like waiting so long for the enemies to spawn, I think that once a round is defeated, it should spawn the next lot straight away so I'm not stuck waiting there for them - There should be some kind of mid-round activity to do whilst my troops fight, either that or make the fighting mechanics better - More cryptids please! I really like the range that there is right now but it could definitely do with a few more, maybe like the loch ness monster or the chupacabra or something? Anyway, I did have a great time playing this, and I'm interested to keep playing to see stuff like the Wendigo etc This game also feels exactly like this old mobile game called heroes and castles that I used to play which is really neat!
