[b][u]Horror in the Mudane[/u][/b] [i]"He was such a nice guy!"[/i] This was so close to being amazing but is seriously let down by the ending. I was actually taken aback when some white text appeared on a black screen as the ending. It started so strong and I had so many questions and I'm still left with questions because it feels like plot lines were set up and just didn't go anywhere. Seemed like they had so many ideas for antagonists so they just put them all in. [spoiler]The fake out death was so not scary and when you die in the hospital felt very tacked on where the camera literally just tilts and a sound plays.[/spoiler] I'm mostly disappointed with the homeless guy. When he showed up and said he "escaped the hospital" after you connect the dots he was the one in the body bag, it was genuinely unsettling, but then he really did just...escape hospital, as a gag I guess. However the atmosphere and sound design absolutely carried this experience. The horror in mundane tasks like walking down the street or serving customers were very well done and the foot steps in the last section when [spoiler]the dude[/spoiler] walked past closed doors made my heart race.
