for one of those retro horror games it did make me flinch sometimes.. the game follows Alina, a young girl (maybe in her early 20s? idk...) who works at a kind of cornerstore. I liked that the npcs had their own distinct personalities (like the old lady who kept calling me a slut). That being said, it covered what it feels like walking home alone at night (as a woman), having people follow you home and being betrayed by people you think you can trust. The second nightmare sequence was super eerie and totally scary !! ヽ（≧□≦）ノ The unsettling music and lights switching off really added to it. Loved it sm !! Would recommend kind of spoiler?: [spoiler] Anyway, the only thing I didn't get was the guy with the cat shirt running around.. idk what his deal was [/spoiler]

A good little horror jaunt that is definitely worth the price of admission. Quite short but does a lot with the time it does have. You man the counter at a cafe and serve the residents of a strange town with even stranger residents. If you hate jumpscares there are 3/4 but you can anticipate them, only one comes out of the blue with absolutely no warning. There has clearly been a lot of thought and planning in the little town corner you inhabit for this game, the characters are well thought out and there were a few moments that genuinely made me laugh on top of scared. I played this game totally blind and I am glad I did, there aren't really any points where you would need a guide or help so I would recommend others do the same. My one complaint: [spoiler]That damn hospital chase section at the end is not scary and was honestly more of a chore to complete than anything. There were points where I was 100% not visible to the killer yet he would "see" me through a full wall and kill me anyway. Leading to me having to repeat a section way more than I wanted. The ending is also essentially black text on a screen that reads like a blog update about what happens, kinda cobbled together a…
