architect

Architect is a creative sandbox game offering a unique experience that is simultaneously comforting and challenging. It's hard to describe, and it's probably best if you just try it, but the gist is that you are building impossible structures a la Escher. There's a bit of a learning curve, but once you see how it works you get to enjoy this weird mind-expanding exploration. You can see the passion of the developer in this game, from the general concept to the experiential touches like the ambient music, the cursor, the intuitive controls, and the ability to control every aspect of your Architect experience.

Its great to just relax and be creative for a little while, the shapes were helpful to get started and then once I got the hang of it, it was pretty fun to try and create my own structures, gives dorfromantik vibes but is more open.

At first, I thought it was a puzzle game, but it turns out to be a drawing app where you recreate pre-set patterns exactly. Still, I really enjoy it! It’s so relaxing and engaging, plus it challenges your spatial imagination.

Never really got into it, but it was really fun! i could see this easily being a nice little game, sort of like Tiny Glade.

fun drawing game/tool. I bought it because it was very cheap on sale ($0.59), and I have wanted to experiment with Escher-esque geometry in my art for a while now. I have a hard time visualizing perspective lines in my art, even for spaces that literally could and do exist, so trying to wrap my mind around impossible geometries felt, uh. impossible, I guess. but this makes it fun and easy. I might export the screenshots to practice tracing so I can learn the perspective tricks. neat little tool!

I believe it's a good game to relax and make cool abstract art on! Give it a try.
