Abandoned and not worth the small cost. If you want to play around it's not too bad but there must be better options out there

It's necessary to be able to choose the color and thickness of the lines for the hexagons. The ability to click and drag is missing, instead of having to click on the hexagons one by one.

It could have been great. Even buggy, a few tiny QOL changes like the ability to place multiple sections by clicking and dragging would have elevated this to usable at least, but if you want to make anything bigger than a small island, you have to prepare to give yourself carpal tunnel.

Great early access. Very pretty. Very simple. I wish there was a way to do caves, underwater, and ruins. Controls are very simple. The ability to seamlessly present biome and elevation has been great.

Instead, Atlas Architect functions as a digital canvas, inviting players to experiment freely with terrain, biomes, and landscapes purely for the joy of creation. The core of the experience revolves around shaping worlds through a clean, top-down hexagonal grid. Using simple tools, players can paint forests, mountains, rivers, plains, deserts, and other biome types onto the map, watching them blend together into coherent landmasses. The hex-based structure strikes a balance between precision and organic flow, making it easy to design both orderly, stylized maps and more natural-looking environments. There is an immediate satisfaction in seeing continents emerge tile by tile, and the low barrier to entry means that even players with no background in art, level…
