ARK Park

Review after the update of 4th of December 2025. I know this game from the PSVR era, seven years ago, and was pleased to relive the game on PC in a higher resolution environment. Higher resolution in comparison of running games on the Quest 3 locally, but not as high as some latest PC developments in VR. Developments of various controllers are not very well adapted, but my experience after the latest update of December 2025 is that it runs very well on the Quest 3 if you are using the Meta Quest Link route. You can choose between Quest controllers or the Xbox gamepad. It hardly can be controlled via Remote Desktop, not all buttons on the controllers are functional. Forget some minor bugs like when you want to enter the main entrance hall and forget to press the clearly visable button in front of you. Enjoy the interaction with the animals instead. Not only dinosaurs, but many other like beetles, snakes, spiders, monkeys and what you have not. The colorful wilderness is attractive, next to the various game interactions from riding on the back of a dinosaur, making photo's and flying in a hot air balloon. so after months snail took the hint they fixed the DRM issue, decent tech demo, but needs some massive fixes for modern VR systems (you'll see it once you're in-game, believe it!)

This game is “ass” do not play it. Worst $5 ever spent I love ase and Asa but this is a disgrace to the franchise. I know I’m slamming it a lil hard but I spent 2.5 hours downloading this game to play it for 20min and rank it the worst vr game I have ever played. Even worse I dident play it in time to refund it so now it’s just slithering around in my library. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, go play ark survival like a man of culture

Game no longer works. "Expired license key." I didn't get a chance to play it despite paying for it. Bad rep for Snail Games. Not going to buy any other products from them.

This is why I hate the invention of the Vive controller. I have the HP Reverb G2. And I can't get controller bindings to work with a game that uses the Vive controller. I got it to partly work. I could move. By holding the Y on the left or the B on the right, and move the controller up and down. But then the game asks me to hit the Menu Button to open some function menu. I can't progress because of that. And it suck's so much for this looks damn good on my HP Reverb G2. But games made with the Vive in mind don't work with my controllers, and there is a lot of Vive games like this I paid for but can't use. All because they wanted to be different than every other VR controller out there. >.< Damn this sucks so much when a proprietary device is made to try and be cool, while making what they made, incompatible with most everything else it could have work with if they didn't want Vive users only to be able to play this. That Idea alone sucks, for everyone else without a Vive.
