About Army of Pixels
A lane based pixel strategy. You have to strategically control your lanes and manage your resources to counter your enemy's units and tactics.
Assemble your ultimate army from 17 playable factions, from sturdy dwarves to volatile fire elementals, from pesky insect swarms to lumbering tree behemoths. Want an army with vampire lords, mutant zombies and rat swarms? Check.
Various units counter other units or have other special abilities. Inquisitors are best suited against creatures of the dark, undead are immune to poison, tree beasts do well against buildings and so on.
Army of Pixels is mainly inspired by various "tug of war" games. Please note that the game focuses mostly on game mechanics (units with special abilities, counter-units, faction and spell combos), and doesn't really have a story or a rich, developed world. Yet it offers a few hours of content (campaign map + factions to unlock), and then some if you try to reach some of the higher levels in Endless mode.

[h1] Put your characters inside the book and protect yourself from incoming waves of creatures. You can cast spells on the battlefield. Your allies will come forth to destroy everything what's on their path. Defeating enemies gives more coins to spend on new units. Overall simple gameplay and not so good visuals. Not recommended. A wonderful and simple little strategy tower-defence game, with a fair bit of variety with the armies, and an entertaining but short mission mode. I had a lot of fun with my first 2 or 3 hours, as it's a nice game just to play in-between breaks of other games, but from my 3rd hour onwards, I started getting frequent crashes. First it would crash after maybe two or three missions, then after every mission, and then during almost every mission I played. I'd get maybe 3 quarters into a mission, and then it'd just die on me, so completing mission mode in full ended up taking far, far longer than it should have. If not for me wanting to 100% it, I would have given up on this game just completely. It's a fun and charming little game, but with how often this crashes and with how irritating it gets, I can't recommend this game, even with how low the price is.7 found this helpful
Reasonable lane defence title, but like others it started to crash for me after the first hour.
No.
a great game, i just wish it had more replayability. really unfortunate it isnt still being updated. and despite having every achievement other than one i cant seem to unlock the horror faction, and the people who played this game are: a) not active enough anymore to tell me how to unlock them, or: b) played so long ago now they just cant remember how to unlock it
Its a good game that it nothing special but very fun.
