Ascend (2025)

Good bones but lacking polish. The game has a fun aesthetic and lots of interesting features and design elements, but many pieces of the environment have slightly misplaced or unfinished-looking placement. The character has some janky movement, some dialogues don't play audio, and I am able to get into MANY places that I definitely shouldn't. Like being able to maneuver past an invisible wall at the very start of the game and then jump straight into the void, where I then fall forever until quitting and resuming. If this game is still being worked on, I think it has definite potential. If it is finished... that's unfortunate. EDIT: Apparently the game is still being actively worked on. Good Luck to the devs, you've got some work ahead, but i think by the end you'll have something to be proud of.

A fun puzzle solving game themed around zodiac trials! I love the unique time turner mechanic which allows you to shift the time of the day to see varying sights, it plays a big part in your trials There's stunning art for the tarot cards that you can collect throughout the game which I loved!

Couldn't wait for the full release of Ascend since I played the Demo at CGX, and I wasn't disappointed! Lovely game - very relaxing, whimsical and atmospheric. Puzzles are relatively simple but fun and I loved the time mechanic and detail put into in the world and many collectables; I can tell a lot of thought and love went into making this. A few bugs here and there but I expect that due to it's very recent release date.

Game has allot of potential. It's beautiful a wonderful world. Though, it may have been rushed to a publish date, I'm sure they can get it together. The company has great customer service.
