i expect this game to be cute and family friendly but is quite tough and brutal even on easy xDD highly recommend it also the dev is pretty cool deserve all the support1 found this helpful
I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s completely broken. The game just gets stuck on the title screen and doesn’t respond to anything, no keyboard, no controller—nothing.1 found this helpful
Tough game but really good! I really enjoyed the music and the gameplay tho. I like the fact that its got some anime elements and that its a side-scrolling platformer, I also like the graphics! Although some enemies were a PAIN to take down, but I think this whole thing is pretty creative!1 found this helpful
There is an open door in front of you. Do you choose to go out? Or do you choose to stay in? Or do you choose to go out? Or do you choose to stay in? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHXVCZ308LQ If you want to see the beginning of Ascii the Brave Cat and watch my first impressions as they happened, click the video above. Jumps are tight, and it's not always clear whether you need to do a normal jump or a bounce jump. The bounce jump gives you just a little more height. Invisible blocks exist waiting to be discovered with nothing indicating them. And combat, especially boss combat, is brutal and unforgiving. Easy Mode grants you unlimited lives, however, and it's the difficulty I'd recommend. (Explore makes you immune to damage but you can't complete stages.) Ascii takes inspiration from the best platformers. There are moments of Castlevania, Mega Man 2, and more. Stages are impressively lo…1 found this helpful
This game is a challenge! With that said this game is amazing and deep and will test your skills and seeing the video game refs. here and there are a nice touch but hoo boy some bosses legit beat me a lot but I aim to win.
Hard, when I got the achievement for beating stage 3 only 8.2% of people had got it. But this game is very fun and overall pretty well made (Stage 4 mini boss sucks though)
