This game is about an hour long platformer. Well, there are like 4 bosses, which become reused at least once in a normal level and then again in a boss rush. The controls are allright, and there are no words in this game (I think). No option to change controls, you are stuck to WASD and then J K. which is not jump and kill, but j is kill, k is jump :) Resetting the level takes way too long imho, why wait for nothing when you know games like i wanna be the boshy reset your level instantly? I couldn't bring myself to play through the entire game, not much of a platformer fan here. Sometimes the hitboxes in this are frustrating, especially when you do the down slash attack on a moving plattform (cactus). It would be nice, if you just kept jumping with the same attack, but instead you have to use the attack every time :/ Otherwise the movement is very good. Graphics are allright, but with some of the enemy designs I have no idea what that is supposed to be, or rather why it is doing what it's doing. There is however not too many enemies, so it's easy to remember their attacks. The boss fights, well, it seems you can cheese/speedrun them, because they are basically vulnerable in al…

short & sweet! doesn't overstay its welcome, though you might need a tolerance for slight jank! younger players might become frustrated, so make sure you're someone who can see their mistakes and plan accordingly! this game really makes you want to go faster, seems it could good for speedruns. completed story mode under an hour, seems there's a bonus boss rush mode. if i had critic things to say, the orc boss is a bit unpredictable due to its randomized choice of moves and the hitboxes of enemies and projectiles seem to stay a few frames even after you've killed them, meaning you can oftentimes kill an enemy and get killed by them at the same time. also, some of your cat's attacks have a bit too much ending lag, death animation is too long and the music restarting every time you die is a bit too much, otherwise graphics are simple and cute! the pixel art gives you all the information you need, none of that overly busy noisy hd-2d stuff! perfect for this kind of gameplay it was fun figuring out what i could do with my limited moveset and how i could get through the stages faster with it! the orc boss had me using a bunch of the tricks i learned through the way, wall-jumps are your…

in boss rush mode.. the goblin boss goes through the wall and you have to start over because you are locked out.. Other than that? mildly entertaining.

This was pretty annoying. There were a few moments that felt cool, but most of the levels are filler with enemies that are either completely trivial, slightly annoying due to level layout, or just plain annoying. The bosses four are equally subpar, with the first one being just an enemy rush, the third one being trivial with one tricky to dodge move at the very end, and the final boss being able to chain attacks in ways that make you lose guaranteed. Still, the whole base game was under seventy minutes, with a bit more time lost to the bosses.
