Ashina: The Red Witch is an exploration-based, story-adventure game. Use items to solve puzzles as well as talk to many other characters to help dig into the story even further!
Join Ash on the journey of an afterlife-time! Travel through a mysterious spirit world filled with strange creatures, interesting characters, and memorable moments! Ash must find her way back home and save her sister from the powers that be.

It was not really fun to play. The story was a mess and the characters were annoying at most. Some areas were fun, like the city area with more vibrant characters. The game was a bit clunky to play and some areas were so small with so few interactable things that it was more akin to a flash game really. No Japanese support is also kinda surprising since the game is essentially based on 100% Japanese lore.1 found this helpful

One out of the Stranga Games' repertoire of yokai world adventures. Ashina is a prequel My Big Sister, stand-alone story with connections to one another and a common concept covering the Japanese folklore. With retro-styled graphics as a base, the elements of light horror is mixed with humor for some engaging story value. Even though Ash seeks to find a way out of the spirit world for her along with her sister as the main goal, there are optional tasks and choices that unlocks extra endings that adhere to the questions left open. Simplistic gameplay but with memorable story and characters.
Perfectly ties in to My Big Sister, as a prequel to that game and sequel to Red Bow.
