The story takes place in a fog-shrouded world where players collect items and defeat bosses to gain more information about the world, advance levels by placing blocks on the map, and encounter a variety of enemies and random events. The game mechanism is timeline turn-based, players and enemies move on the timeline, using cards to affect their position on the timeline, and powerful cards make players move more on the timeline.
