Keyboard controls are A shoot S Punch Z jump arrow keys movement. Not sure how this rubbish ended up on my steam account, Hope I didn't waste any money on it.

No game nowadays should quit to desktop by pressing esc, that should be relegated to the days of the DOS. Control bindings that doesn't feel good for keyboard and won't detect my controller. Played much better ports of old games, this one is just not a good port.

Love the original game and this game is a love letter to the fans with one big exception: the art direction of this game makes it look like it came out of Newgrounds and was made with flash. This game would have been better served if artwork from the Valken or Leynos 2 was used.

A far cry from the Genesis classic it is a remake of. Janky, ugly, and ten years after release still doesn't detect a controller on launch.

Fresh from the disappointing experiences with [b]B.A.D.[/b] and [b]Gunhound[/b], I approached this game with caution, given the reviews and having the same developer as the latter, clearly fit for the job but at the same time leaving doubts on how they would deliver. While it suffers some of the same flaws, and makes me doubt I'd be able to manage the game at higher difficulties, I came out with a better impression. The original Mega Drive game from 1990, known in the west as [b]Target Earth[/b], while not great visually even for the time (except for the beautiful intro and ending sequences), succeeded at making the player feel not like a lone hero but rather an ace pilot with a great support system, pivotal to the success of missions but never alone in the middle of a sudden and brutal war, in a plot that was fairly developed for an action game of the era. There's lots of inspiration from Gundam of course, including a wannabe Char Aznable as a nemesis fought several times. This remake is quite faithful, except with the mechas.
