About Asterix & Obelix XXXL : The Ram From Hibernia

In Hibernia, nothing goes to waste, but we throw it all away… Especially Romans.

The year is 50 B.C. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely. One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders…

Meanwhile, in Hibernia (today known as Ireland) Keratine, cheif Irishcoffix’s daughter, is calling Asterix and Obelix to the rescue as they need help to overcome the Roman invasion and bring back her father’s beloved golden ram. For this mission, you’ll control your favorite heroes and use your fists and any surrounding objects to make your way while throwing Romans in the air!

To progress in this pure action-adventure game, travel around the 6 new worlds and use objects around you to unlock access to hidden paths and, as usual, smash Romans that cross your way.

6 new worlds to explore from Gaul to Hibernia (Ireland) in an original story respectfully inspired by the iconic universe of our Gaulish heroes!

For the first time ever, play Asterix and Obelix in local cooperation up to 4 players on the same screen.

We offer you a new game experience by using a wide range of objects founds during your journey, but of course, you can still grab Romans !

New stylish combos and finish moves are available to beat them all!

This game has a high replay value due to challenges in each levels demanding skills to get success and rewards .

Series fans and casual gamers will also be delighted to get back to Asterix and Obelix world through this 3D game (top-down view) with stunning graphics and universal humour.

Asterix & Obelix XXXL : Der Widder aus Hibernia is suprisely because of the bad steam raitings i thought this would be even worse than XXL3 but its acutally better and soild experience, alteast they didnt used XXL4 for this title which is good: Pros: + graphics overall are better but i prefer the XXL3 visual style + game runs smooth no problems at all + 6 levels to explore to fight romans and find collectiables + 6 roman compounds (an big imporevement over XXL3 they are way more fun and its goals) + story is ok (main game 3-4 hours / all achievements 8-9 hours) + better level design its more straight forward/linear and less confusing + game had the perfect lenght it ended before it gets respective which is nice + asterix & obelix humor is fully alright in this game Cons: - cutscenes animations are pretty basic only static poses with voice acting (only the ending have an small cutscene, the whole game should use that) - if you want to play coop mode with two different controllers they need to be the same like both xbox or ps if you mix it for some odd reason it dont work - from time to time there can be romans stuck but you can still defeat them - coop mode feels cheap if you real…

Possibly the worst Asterix game ever made. The most generic and bland game in the whole series, nothing new except WEAPONS, which ruin the game, MUSIC puzzles.

Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia is a lively, top-down action-adventure that captures the slapstick charm and exaggerated heroics of the classic Asterix comics while shifting the series into a new gameplay structure. Developed by OSome Studio and published by Microids, this chapter sends the indomitable Gauls across the sea to Hibernia, where a stolen sacred ram and Roman meddling set the stage for yet another chaotic adventure. The narrative is light, humorous, and intentionally cartoonish, maintaining the tone that long-time fans expect. Characters speak in playful quips, the Romans are as bumbling as ever, and the story moves briskly from one situation to the next without bogging down the action. The gameplay adopts a top-down, arena-style beat ’em up format that emphasizes crowd control, environmental interaction, and cooperative play. You can choose from several characters including Asterix, Obelix, and their allies, each capable of punching, tossing, slamming, or swinging improvised weapons at the endless Roman forces. The controls are intentionally simple—basic strikes, heavy hits, special abilities, and object throwing—making the game approachable even for newc…
