Amazing job, developers... if you’re making a PC version of the game, at least enable keyboard support. And I shouldn’t have to download a patch from some random website just to make the game run properly without FPS drops.4 found this helpful
The game is great, but the condition the PC version was released is shamelessly terrible. Performance issues never fixed by the developers make the game run worse than its PS2 version. The only fix is an external disk editor program. This version of the game is not worth your money since it requires your intervention just to be playable. Play it on a PS4 or emulate the PS2 version on pcsx2 to have an infinitely better experience with zero tweaks necessary.
Buggy and unfinished port. Your time is better spent elsewhere.
The second entry improves on the first XXL in a few crucial ways. The levels look more interesting and it doesnt feel as much of a chore as the previous effort. There are a lot of fun easter eggs and a similar spy character is back, this time as Sam Schiffer. Some technical hiccups are here, you have to turn down the volume for music and effects a bunch in order to even understand what the characters are saying. Although it leaves a much better impression compared to the first one, my desire to continue is missing for now, maybe I'll pick this up again some other time. For now I feel like there is still a lot of improvements in the gameplay department.
Controls for jumping, hitting etc are not working after rebinding them. Jump works only while pressing Win + Space. I didn't quite like the intro and overall atmosphere compared to the prequel.
