this game reminds me of the good old days, back when I used to hit up the arcade to play Space Invaders and my wife was still with me (please Susan I miss the kids)
For Astraea, I enjoyed my time playing it because well, its quite calming to say the least. The game is not flashy or complex, nor does it try to be, and in the growing plethora of content today that have 500 menus each and secret tech you have to learn for every section of the game, it is a good "turn off" switch, and just allows you to enjoy blowing ♥♥♥♥ up. The art style, screen-shakes, simplistic menu system, and feel-good moments of when you destroy an entire squadron of ships all make Astraea an enjoyable game. 9/10 Good "reset switch" for your brain
I would say this game is very simple and fun. It has a cool aspect in it which is the upgrade feature. This is very fun and ill play it more for sure.
Fun, simple, classic. Perfect little addicting shoot 'em up game for a very reasonable price.
