Short shooter with unlockable harder challenges for those who want to go for another run. You play the role of Astraea, a goddess who must protect a kid from Hera, another goddess who is envious of the young girl. Fortunately, Zeus looks after you and provides as much assistance as he can. The gameplay is quite basic but decent. You move the ball, Astraea, around the screen while shooting at incoming creatures. These are different mythological monsters, including cyclops, harpies, spider ladies, and more. They approach the girl in the middle and occasionally shoot, but the projectiles are harmful only to you. However, if a monster gets to the girl, they will kill her and end the game. After a while, Zeus will drop three power-ups from heaven. You can only gather one to boost your damage, accuracy, amount of bullets, and so on. However, these power-ups persist throughout stages and remain yours until you lose all three lives or the girl dies. If you want to make things easier and worry only about movement, there’s an auto-fire option in the settings. A stage lasts a few minutes before Zeus decides it is enough. Astraea is a tower defense game inspired by Greek mythology. As the star maiden Astraea your mission is to protect a little child from the hordes of monsters that Hera sends after her. You do that by shooting bolts and setting traps to defend her. Power-ups, granted by Zeus at the end of “rounds”, allow you to upgrade those weapons. The pixel graphics are okay. The characters (Zeus, Astraea and the child) look good. The monsters, however, could use some love as their movements are rather stiff and their looks a bit flat. Dialogues are fully voiced which adds a nice touch. You can choose from several difficulty levels and additional challenges or handicaps. However, the game is already so hard that you will most likely not need this. The controls are clunky and take quite some time to get used to. Using twin sticks of a controller would make it feel a lot more natural and easier. But at least at this point in time there seems to be no controller support. Turning on autofire in the settings helps a bit and is a nice feature. The game is still in early access so smaller improvements can be expected. The game has potential.

the game is a bit hard at start specially getting use to movement but after some time it got a bit easy. the game has 5 difficulties and a lot of different challenges as well.

Fun little "bullet hell" game. Kinda sucks that there no sex though despite being a green mythology game. 9/13 total score
