=TLDR: WARNING: DEAD GAME, AND NOT JUST IN PLAYER COUNT= Back when this was on the various Flash game sites, it was fairly popular due to it's uniqueness, I'll start with the pros. Pros: *top down space flight game, with leveling and monster hunting and boss fights = very unique game. *an artifact-based equipment system, allowing you to customize your capabilities *every ship has unique strengths and capabilities, some with unique weapons entirely *interesting crew leveling system: no effect on your space capabilities, but leveling their skills will help them complete groundside missions that give you bonus coin, materials, and sometimes artifacts. Now the cons. Hoo boy. Cons *literally everything is monetized. This omnipresent in-game currency is available to either buy in decent amounts, get in minor amounts from daily login rewards, or get in microscopic amounts from story missions. Have to wait for a crafting or crew mission timer? There will be a prompt to spend currency to complete it instantly. Want to buy a ship? You'll need weeks of daily logins to even consider the cheapest upgrades. Want leveling boosts, item collection aides, or a keep-inventory-on-death ab…

Update; Didn't know the servers have recently started going on the fritz all the time. So atm it's not functional, people say the devs are working on it, but this game is an old flash mmo soooo eh. I'll leave my review as-is since it WAS a good game lol 7/10 I really like this game, I'm sad it doesn't have a finished Mid-High level zone. My progress is basically stalled because everything is either too easy/low reward, or far too hard to kill, with nothing in between. Also a lil annoyed that key quality of life features are locked behind a pay-wall, but it's a free game, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I got more than a reasonable amount of fun out of this game. It's pretty unique too.

A game I used to play alot as a kid when it was still flash based. Lots a great memories and great people when the servers will still active. The balance was a bit wonky from system to system, and some weps/ships are just broken to the point that with arts they would define the meta for years unchanged. The gameplay is still great, the movement, mechanics & the weapon types added enough depth to the game to require you to atleast think about how to counter specific enemy's, which is more than i can say for alot of simple games from this era. Runs on a toaster so most anyone can play it which is important with how expensive new hardware is + its nice to enable users with old integrated graphics to have fun too. If the servers were up more often, it could be a fun time for a small group of friends. If the dev asked for infrastructure help, id love to try and run a (in-game) "system" with my spare proxmox resources if the game permits splitting up the servers like that, which i assume because of the loading screen when warping, but i have no real clue. None the less, this game has plenty of value regardless of its age. It might mostly just be because of how awful alot of modern f2p ga…
