The Jump scares will smack you in the face and knock you out of your seat! The atmosphere of this game is amazing with the sounds and you never know when a enemy will appear. Game Rating 7/10 My Playthrough https://youtu.be/04NRozLt_8w?si=wSweZ9Jc5GlqESNX

I’ve only just started the full version of At Death's Door, but I spent a lot of time with the demo, and it absolutely hooked me. The eerie atmosphere, immersive storytelling, and psychological horror elements were all there in the demo, and I'm thrilled to see that the full game builds on it beautifully. Even in just a few minutes, I can tell this is going to be something special. If the demo grabbed you, the full version is absolutely worth it.

It's a tentative no because I'm pretty sure I found a bug that got me softlocked way before things really got started. The voice acting and story seem pretty solid although it does seem like it may be a bit reliant on jump scares rather than any kind of chases or anything - I didn't get too far in though! I can't recommend spending $8 on it for now, but I would love to give this game another chance. I have a pending bug report in the discussions - the short of it is, game crashed -> my staged cameras stopped working on all my saved data, even on starting new games.

I started "At Death's Door" not knowing what to expect. The game centers around a host of an ailing ghost hunting television show. In a last ditch effort to save his show he heads to St. Valentines hospital for the criminally insane after receiving a tip from a friend. The paranormal activity picks up moments after arriving and checking on your gear. What ensues is a harrowing decent into the patients past and becoming very personal with their ailments and crimes. As you learn more and more a sense of dread develops as you creep around the dilapidated grounds. I jumped out of my skin on multiple occasions, and I recommend those who are curious and enjoy horror should give it a try. The game has a very personal touch to it, and I often thought of what went into their process as the developers made it. Speaking of which, if any of the developers happens to read this, some people who watched me stream this and myself had some questions about a few plot points. I would love the opportunity to have a brief discussion if you are willing. I had a good time with this game!

I'm an avid fan of indie horror titles, and boy howdy this game was RIGHT in my wheelhouse in terms of stuff I love to play. As a horror buff, it was easy to pick up on where the Dev's inspirations were coming from, and I wholeheartedly believe that they showed that off in a tasteful manner. Compelling story, well written lore/characters, and the eerie atmosphere was the icing on the cake in this game. There were a few kinks, all of which the dev's are currently working out, but that didn't hinder the gameplay or make it any less of an enjoyable experience. Some of the puzzles were pretty challenging, but hey that's not such a bad thing considering I am a pretty dense gamer at times.. All in all? I loved it. That ending left me CRAVING for more. Huge thanks to Azimyth for letting me play this and give my own unfiltered and honest review/opinion on their game. Probably one of the better jumpscares I've had during a livestream lol.
