For a total beginner this game is way too hard. It should be possible for the player or learner to develop a learning curve from wrong answers in order to be able to judge which frequency (band) was the correct one. At least in the current state the game is not useful for me. I also do not really understood in the mission "frequency forest" if the band filter or band boost by the cursor changed anything - at least I did not really notice any change in the boosted area. It would be really helpful to let the player boost frequency bands by the cursor otherwise it is really only guessing from my point of view, unless the boosted frequency would be like low - middle - high.1 found this helpful
Worth it! Even more for hearing Nick making voices XD Seriously though, good and fun exercises... Now I see that I have difficulty with higher frequencies lol. Good sound samples, having fun while training my ear, thank you for the game Nick. There is only 1 thing that I would love to have, a "play room" to practice a bit of each and maybe some explanation/tips for each. For example, each frequency what "sounds" you can relate, dBs how much does it "feel" to up 6dB and so on. Those kind of tricks you learn on your audio journey.
