AURORA FLIGHT (オーロラ・フライト)

Honestly, this early release should've just been a demo, there's barely any content and everything feels unfinished. I've seen demos on Steam with more content than this. The game idea is cool and I'm hyped to play it, but in its current state it's just not fun

Overall, I don't recommend - seems inspired by Ace Combat but needs lots of polishing. Played only the training and first mission, didn't enjoy nor felt immersed. Pros: - Good background music - Features two different types of control - Terrain renders well Cons: - Clouds, smoke and aircraft debris render poorly - Very simple models for player aircraft - Game automatically targets enemy closer to centre of screen. It does not show relative bearing to player. - If you rotate camera, you can still lock on to enemies (even if they are directly behind you). - Missiles just look like balls of light - Gunfire spawns from outside player aircraft - Barely any story dialogue in mission Did not check: VR mode

The game still looks like a half baked mess with repetitive as all hell atmospheres, constant over G warnings even if you turn off g-force recognition, and incredibly slow turning aircraft even if you do have attachments. It really looks like a mid alpha stage game. It looks like it was inspired by ace combat somewhat but the game monumentally fails at being fun like ace combat. Since the game's recognition of g-forces is flawed at best, i would just remove it entirely.
