Autumn Park Mini Golf

I like the game's idea. Finally, a golfing game where you're not THE golf ball but can actually walk around (and interact a bit with the world, even though, being honest, it's pretty lame here). Even the collectibles aren't located in the cool spots. And I genuinely had fun playing this game, even when replaying the courses multiple times. It's basic, but it's enjoyable, and at least it's not overdoing it. It's such a shame it's so unpolished, though. For how few gameplay mechanics it has, a lot of them have bugs and technical errors. There are basically no settings (only volume control, which doesn't even seem to work). Some very basic gameplay mechanics aren't present either, like checking your overall score using a dedicated key (you have to finish a hole for it to show up). The music, however, is very nice, albeit it might just be some royalty-free generic one, and the game does look good, although most of it might just be asset flips. A fun little game to kill some time.

I have purchased 5 different miniature golf games so far, and this is one of the least expensive games, but it still has nice graphics. It took me a few minutes to figure out the controls of the game, but there are instructions on how to play and a tutorial. If you want a premium miniature golf game, I recommend Golf It!, Golf With Your Friends, or Mini Putt. This is also a decent game for people with less money or people who want multiple miniature golf games.

If only the first course was in the game I would give it a high review as it is fun and challenging. But the second course is crap! Not the challenge if offers but game design. Sometimes your ball will go off in a totally different direction than you are aiming even when teeing off. Sometimes when drawing the power meter back the game will just hit the ball even though you haven't let go of the button. This only happens on the second course for me. The only reason why i am giving this game a recommend is because of the price (I paid $2), if it is listed any more than that I suggest you not buy this game.

Mirror's Edge meets mini golf with none of the fun of either.
