About Aztec Tower
Aztec Tower is a free VR bow & arrow game about defending the temple of your people against the spanish conquistadors trying to take apart your sacred site to enrich themselves on the gold which they're ready to and already killed for. You're the last man standing of a brave tribe who fought against the invaders for generations. They're about to overrun your temple, but you're determined to take as many of them with you as you can. The game can be played on the HTC Vive through SteamVR. It should also run on the Oculus Rift or other VR headsets, but is only tested on the HTC Vive. Also please keep in mind that this game is not historically accurate nor is it trying to be.
Textures, models and sounds of other creators were used. Please see ATTRIBUTION.txt in the game files for details.
To reset your position in game, press and hold both thumb sticks on your controllers.

I love to use bow and arrow in VR games. This one is a lot of fun. The main menu is operated by shooting targets. Try to stop the evil Spanish from destroying your temple. You can shoot at the enemy directly (helmets and armor are removed first, then you need another arrow to actuelly hit your target) or throw bombs that appear on a table in front of you. There are also vases that explose when hit them placed next to the road.11 found this helpful

Well done! For a free game it is very well executed! Definitely keep building on top of the basis you already have if that is what you want to do.
This is a clone of Longbow minigame from The Lab with way worse visuals, animations, difficulty curve and replayability. I know that you can say "clone of The Lab's Longbow" about almost any standing wave VR Archery game, but here it is the most apparent. There are almost no improvements or even changes from the original formula: the only positive additions are ranged enemies and decent throwing for explosives. At the same time Aztec Tower has no headshot or balloon mechanics of The Lab, completely ruining replayability by making skill ceiling extremely low. And the difficulty curve becomes flat after just a several waves, making even the first and only playthrough too boring to finish. Works on Reverb G2
