About Backrooms: Multiverse
Explore the multiverse of Backrooms, a world built from diverse lore and unique author expansions. Solve puzzles, use tools, and survive against relentless monsters. Some levels are calm and safe, while others push your fear to the limit. Can you escape the dangers that lurk around every corner?
Unique entities
In this game, you will encounter more than just same-sized anthropomorphic creatures. Some monsters are comparable in size to a human, while others are far larger and more imposing.Various tools
Throughout the level, you will discover a variety of tools required to progress. Each tool is seamlessly integrated into the character’s animations.Deep lore
In this game, you will encounter both classic Backrooms levels and entirely new ones. The Backrooms exist as a multiverse, where you may meet other travelers and discover alternate versions of familiar levels.Roadmap
There is roadmap. I am planning to add 3 new levels after release. Honestly I planned to publish only 4 levels for early access, however it was very poor as I think. This plan is not finish, perhaps post release new maps will differ from current plan, or I will add more than 3 new maps. I wish to organize voting and ask players which levels they want to play, I think I can do it when discord channel will be bigger =) . So 8 levels will be available in early access, and then I will add 3 or more than 3 levels after. What Steam players say

I played with a friend, we liked it. First of all, I liked the levels and stylistic finds, which is quite interesting considering how many Backrooms games are similar to each other. Secondly, the game has mechanics that I have not seen before in other Backrooms. I wish you success, the game definitely deserves attention!7 found this helpful
Bit janky and buggy to get started, but if you give this a proper chance it's really good. Definitely one of the better Backrooms experiences I've had, definitely the best one so far this year!4 found this helpful
crashes quite often , water level is also unbearable i played with 3 people and we all crashed ,the game has alot padding, just to get you to the 2 hour mark not worth 8 quid maybe 3 quid at that its also annoying you cant turn of motion blur and the shaky camera does just randomly come on even if you turn the setting to zero1 found this helpful
This game runs like ass, the people I played with kept crashing especially on the water levels. Dont bother playing the game, most of the game is padding to get over the two hour mark just so they could get over the guaranteed refund. For example the sailing level has no threat and no engaging gameplay, its just turn to the red light for 7-8 minutes. The pool level is just wander around aimlessly down some corridors for about 10 minutes aswell. Dont bother with this game, as with most backrooms games they are poorly made but there was no actual attempt to make engaging gameplay in this one.1 found this helpful
This feels like the game was severely unfinished before getting released to early access ngl. Level 1: The Entity is very easy to avoid and isn't really scary he kinda jst looks silly. The puzzle for this did not work for me idk why and because of that I had to look up a tutorial, I couldn't for the life of me find any numbers in the red clock rooms. Level 2: The environment for this level was really good but it felt underused because the puzzle could be done in genuinely 2 minutes. Level 3: This is by FAR the best area in the game however it is sadly underused cause the boat controls are weird and don't really make any sense (a boat is not controlled by levers like that) The puzzle wasn't really a puzzle and was basically jst a driving simulator ngl which is a shame cause this area has so much potential Level 4: The creatures in this level could be scary if they were given a slight speed boost and the area was darker ngl (that is one of this games issues with the earlier levels, all levels are really bright which takes away from the horror) The puzzle is once again jst go find some random level and it magically opens a random door which gets boring quickly. Level 5:…1 found this helpful
this games feels like busting my cheeks into a nutcracker from hell and melting my crotch shaft into a masterpiece made by miguel angelo. it was as if my mother had born me again and as if my dad never left.1 found this helpful
