Some stores inflate their “regular” price to show a bigger discount. We flag those (⚠ inflated) and show the real saving against the actual list price.
Some store links are affiliate links — playze may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay, and the cheapest confirmed price is always shown in the Best price box above.

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players generally agree that Balan Wonderworld has an interesting art style and decent music, but is hamstrung by hollow and repetitive core gameplay, particularly the inflexible costume system that forces frequent loadout management instead of allowing free switching. Many find it bad enough to be entertainment value as a curiosity or streaming novelty, though some appreciate it enough to have fun despite its significant flaws.
BW is notorious for being hated online. It's a platformer that comes from the minds of Yuji Naka (ex big shot from Sega) and Square Enix. You control one of the 2 characters (nameless female or male character), explore 12 chapters that each have 2 acts initially. Act 3 is unlocked after completing the story. An act consists of one level, each chapter also has one boss fight after act 2. The gimmicks of the game are having 80 outfits with unique moves and taking care of cute pets in the hub area. Let's start with what the game does right. It has a lot of content, each of the 12 chapters have completely different aesthetics, the bosses are unique and the cutscenes look gorgeous with the famous Square Enix CGI full motion videos. The game's soundtrack is also excellent, I'm reminded of Kingdom Hearts games a lot. it might be the same composer. The gameplay can feel great at the best of times, when you have different outfits trying to figure out where to use them, trying to find the collectibles and exploring the environments. The pet system is genuinely awesome with how you can feed them different coloured crystals (?), they turn into different colours which can help you differently…7 found this helpful
