About Baramon: Gotta Fu*k 'em All
Fuck as many Baramons as you can!
In the world of Baramon, young trainers — known as Bara Chasers — begin their journey not just to catch, but to connect deeply with powerful humanoid creatures called Baramon. These beings, desired for their strength (and their... other assets), live far from humans, resisting contact after generations of being misunderstood and objectified. But thanks to Dr. Phil’s invention, the Bara Sphere, things are changing. For the first time, humans can form real bonds with Baramon. You’ll play as one of the first Bara Chasers — chosen by the doctor himself — and set off on a mission to protect these creatures, study them, and stop those who would abuse the tech for darker purposes.Inspired by the Pokémon SNEZ editionTraditional Turn-Based GameMore than 20 H-scenes to unlockMore than 15 baramons to captureMore than 15 hours of gameplay to unlock the whole content3 Bara Gurus (Gym leaders)Milking System (extract milk from your Baramon and insert it into another to make a unique combination)DLC & expansions

I wish steam would add a maybe/maybe later option for "Do you recommend this game?" This will be a long review so buckle up. World Design and Story: Flat out this is a reskin of the OG Pokémon red/blue with some minor changes here and simplified there. Pros if you've played Pokémon red/blue you will already know were to go and were 95% of the items are so you wont every get stuck. Cons you already know were to go, were items are, and what's coming next in the story 95% of the time. Gameplay: The gameplay/battling is a little more unique as it follows more of team and turn based RPG like Final Fantasy than a traditional monster catching RPG. Your character fights along side his mons making up a party, so instead of worrying about the type match up in a 1v1, you need to think of the type combination of your party combination as a whole which is pretty neat. But also since its a red/blue clone, it has some of the annoying mechanics from the original game and the game gets really grindie really fast since the exp is shared and divided among all party members and the MC just isn't strong enough to carry a smaller party through a fight coupled with there's very little diversity is …15 found this helpful
Premise This review reflects my personal experience with the game. While I aim to write thoughtfully and as fairly as possible, my reviews are subjective in nature and should not be used as objective metrics to assess/critique a game. I also curate a steam group which focusses on reviewing BL/Bara/MxM VNs. It asks players to recognise familiar ideas while still giving them a reason to care about a new world. Baramon immediately establishes itself as a loving parody of classic monster-collecting RPGs. From its creatures and world structure to its humour and visual presentation, its inspirations are unmistakable. Players familiar with those games will recognise countless references, and the affection behind them is evident throughout th…11 found this helpful
As it stands I cannot recommend this game. First of, the overworld map is a blatant rip-off of Pokémon's generation 3 region of Kanto on the Gameboy Advance. Quite literally copy/pasted, which is fun at first but then you remember that you have to go though both "Mt. Moon" and "Dark Cave." Fortunately (or rather unfortunately) the game ends after Blackwich (Lavander Town) - like another reviewer has mentioned, if (or when) Gamefreak gets a whiff of this, it's an automatic cease and desist. I would highly suggest the dev team to make changes to the overworld map asap as I highly doubt this falls under parody, since it looks more like plagiarism. Secondly, it's a total let down playing what one would assume is a complete game, only to find out at the end that what you have just experienced is part of a "Season 1" release. I would be more open and receptive to it if this was released as an "Early Access" game, but a decision was made to release a very bare bones experience and call it a day. The DLCs are a cash grab in my honest opinion, maybe not so much the Art Pack if you're into that, but paying half the price of the game for a pdf that has information that should be inc…8 found this helpful
Love the art style and the whole evolution concept, i hope to see more of it in the near future.6 found this helpful
The second GameFreak gets a whiff of this game, there's going to be a lawsuit. This is literally a ROM of Pokemon Red/Blue with some custom artwork slapped on top. Even the "Baramon" are humanized versions of Pokemon. I mean, the Grass Dude literally has Bulbasaurs markings on his face. Absolute peak definition of copyright infringement. Best of luck to the Dev(s). Lolololol4 found this helpful
Dear Baramon Game Developers, I really love this game. It is amazing even though I found a lot of annoying facts after playing it for 10 hours. I believe all of you guys can make this game better. 1. Leveling up is such a torture! I have to spend a huge amount of time in leveling up my new baramons. Why can't we make all of the baramons to be the same level as our game players? 2.Evolution without milk is terrible. I sold a lot of milk because of lack of money. So it's really embarrassing when I found that I have no more milk for evolution at the latter stage of the game. As a result, I have to capture more baramons and increase their affections so that I could milk them again. But why can't we milk them for more times? Currently, we can only milk them once in CG, which is not that reasonable. 3.We need the option to release some baramons. As shown above, I capture too many baramons in order to make more milk for evolution. Consequently, it's a great pity that there's no more room in the baramon farm at all. Maybe the option of releasing baramons is reasonable? What do you say? 4.Penis Growth Potion or something like that? Actually I'm a big fan of something …2 found this helpful
