Barrel Boot Camp

Fun game, keeps you entertained, some of those barrels can be tricky to find at first! :)

The title says what it is, but if you're expecting to be yelled at by a drill instructor, you're out of luck. Maybe we'll get DLC for that. The start-to-barrel time was higher than I expected: you have to actually start a mission to see them (menu notwithstanding). There's a barrel in the storeroom beside the staging area in each level; sadly, you don't get an achievement for finding it. This isn't all shooting! Each area has a secret that requires exploration and parkour-like jumping. Some developers would've released Spacebar Boot Camp at extra cost, so the inclusion here was a nice touch. The barrel color customization exceeds anything I've seen before. The market for single object destruction simulators is under-served and Goober Games deserves credit for working to rectify that.

Im ..... not even sure how to evaluate this ...... You have 4 locals and 3 variations of barrels for each local to clear and get a score. The objective is to improve the score by completing the course more efficiently (faster time wise, less shots fired, no misses). Theyre not really difficult, might take a bit to notice where some barrels are, but thats it. Courses arent big. Barrel compositions arent anything special either. If you want an aim training simulator, Im sure you can find something much better. Other than that there is nothing. If you want to casually shoot some barrels .... well, ok. Guess you are the select few this might be appealing to. I cant really fault it for much, as its pretty straight forward in its description and it does what it says. Its just so .... cheap. The price kinda reflects that, but still .... I dont want to be mean, but in the modern gaming scene I dont quite understand the point of this product.

Very, VERY short. But not bad. This game shows a lot of potential for Goober Games. Great for those who like speedrunning.

This game will help you: - Improve your aiming skill (Obviously). - Improve your observing skill (For some barrels can be tricky to find). - Improve your reflexes. Although It's a bit short. The graphic is not very good. But it's definitely worth a try.

The game is awesome and I would strongly recommend it if you're into speedrunning or just shooters in general. The Developer (Goober) is a great guy too and interacts a lot with the community :) Great game!
