This (2015 version) is the classic Baseball Mogul before the designer "improved" the game. Steam doesn't carry Baseball Mogul past the 2019 update. The 2015 version is well-suited for playing historical seasons and/or for customizing your team. The downside of older versions of Baseball Mogul is that individual player stats differ somewhat from the player's actual stats for each season. If that's a problem for you, try another game. I believe Baseball Mogul has addressed this issue in their current version.

Do yourself a favor and get Out of the Park Baseball. BM2015 is a baseball management sim where you take on the role of GM and play through multiple seasons building your roster through trades, draft and free agency. If you're looking for positives for this one then it's that it is far more friendly to new users and those looking for a more streamlined experience, due to its far more limited features and rosters. It's not that it is a bad game, it's just that there is another series that does it all better.

I played earlier versions of baseball mogul as a kid. I still remember having occasional half-days at school and having to go with my father to work and they would let me use an unused computer in the office and I got to play Baseball Mogul on it. It must have been the 2008 version, but since then I was hooked. Baseball Mogul 2015 is basically the same game, just as good, but more recent. It is an incredible game for those who like the strategy side of baseball. Strongly recommend!
