✦ AI summary

Players consistently criticize Battle of Keys as a low-quality asset flip with poor gameplay mechanics, confusing objectives, and performance issues, though a minority find it acceptable for the price with decent graphics and multiple levels. Common complaints include abysmal shooting mechanics, unclear key-finding objectives with poor visual feedback, generic Unreal Engine assets, performance problems, and lack of polish or story. A few players appreciate the basic functionality and multiple levels, but these positives are vastly outweighed by widespread disappointment with the overall qualit

Battle of Keys is just another one of the many Unreal Engine asset flips that this developer releases. They all have the same hideous main menu and several 'levels' of gameplay. The player character is the stock Unreal Engine dummy model and the only enemies are police officers. Shooting is god awful and nothing works as it should.
NICE GAME
It is a nice game where you need to get all 5 keys in the levels. In this game they are 5 keys in each level, the player needs to find them all to win and must avoid the hostile police who will attack the player. There is 9 levels in the game. It is a fun game for the price I think it's worth. The game has decent graphics and there is some cool guns in the game but there is a little bugs.

Battle of Keys is an incredibly low quality Unreal Engine asset flip/FPS. Shoot the Policeman Asset with a bunch of Gun assets. The whole thing probably took 30 minutes to put together. Valve is to blame. Terrible developers will always be terrible. It's Valve that decides to let this junk onto their store.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says "Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to." The developer suggests the game took more than 30 minutes to make. I'm sceptical, but I could be wrong. Maybe it was 45 minutes. I'm pretty sure a tamed baboon could do an asset flip of this quality in about 30 minutes, though, the quality is that bad. So I'm not sure what the developer is bragging about here.
Battle of Keys
Conclusion: This is probably an asset flip. I don't recommend buying it at all. If you have it already, I still don't recommend playing it, but if you think you can join the masses and help others avoid buying this game, be my guest. Pros: - The game functions as an fps - Character moves, enemies move. - Some world building happened. - Multiple levels. - A clear goal each time. Cons: - Where are the keys? - Bad gameplay tells (ammo and keys really) - I don't think the rifle is working. - Mishmash of different textures and styles that don't mix well. - I'm having trouble remembering anything about this game. So where to start? The start? Perfect. Level 1. Spawn in and all you can really guess is that you have to find keys. There is a 0/?? bar for these keys and you have a gun. God has placed you in this random ass area of the map and you are just... there. Where do you go? Walk around a little, there's things on the ground that dont look like anything in particular, you can't pick them up, oh well. Suddenly, red screen flash and ouchy noises and police coming for you with their OP guns. Firing my tennis ball gun and boof I'm dead. Alright, let's try again…

What a mess this is. I get Low fps on an apparently simple fps game. Theres no story. Theres just cops running around on the field with a tennisball gun shooting at me. You gotta find and collect the 5 keys spread around the map.
