Def not horrible at all, its a lil bit button mashy imo due to the element switching but this isnt too bad. I will watch this game with some interest1 found this helpful
Good game. The combat is smooth and being able to chose how to strike really helps your weapon fit your fighting style. With the ability to choose how you fight, there is also the element variation of the move. The elements pair well with their strikes to make it a harder hitting combo. Stages 1-1 to 2-4 were fairly smooth, but from 3-1 onward, the difficulty started to pick up and I had to retry a few times. The loop goes: boss fight > upgrade/skill/card setup > boss fight again — simple structure, but each boss has a different style, so the repetition didn’t feel too boring. Guard timing felt pretty forgiving, so it wasn’t too stressful. What took more time was figuring out how to build my setup, since there are quite a lot of skills and passives to choose from.1 found this helpful
