Many, many years ago I got Battlefield 3 on my PS3 and played the campaing, the coop campaing and the multiplayer over and over again. It was a game I enjoyed a lot. I've been making an effort to carry over all the Playstation games I had over to my PC so I've been buying a good portion of them on Steam and playing through them again. Normally, I wouldn't bother but unfortunately my PS3 is currently ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the bed and dying AND Sony ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my accounts over several times and provided 0 assistance on helping me recover my accounts. Their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ AI, automatic helper ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS. Not that the situation on PC is much better, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EA launcher man... +The campaing is fun. This is nostalgia speaking, truth be told, there are certain "wtf is this story telling" events but as a kid I loved it and because of that nostalgia I still love it even if some situations are well could have been better. You get several perspectives from your usual American rifleman to a tanker and a jet pilot as well as playing as Russian soldiers for two or so missions. Absolute garbage on my gaming PC. Can't run even the campaign for 5 minutes without a crash. Multiple launch applications including a webpage with account login before getting to the actual game application I paid for. Hard to even troubleshoot which of these multiple processes are failing at startup.
In 2026 it's obvious you are playing this game for the campaign mode, so lets get into it, very entertaining with a good plot and decent characters, so i would say it's a great experience if you are into fps, that being said it does lack some length, since it can be easily completed in 6/7 hours.
I grew up playing this game, best bf3 because of the nostalgia i have from it. this is a gold standard of a modern shooter & bf1 is a gold standard of a ww1 shooter. The old dice team was amazing then they left & made the finals, another amazing game. then arc which was good at first but became a ♥♥♥♥ show i hope they can get back on track but i feel the damage has been done
