Bip and Bop 2025 is a small two player puzzle platformer that is built almost entirely around working together. I control one little robot while my friend controls the other, and we have to figure out how to get through each level by helping each other. Sometimes one of us has to stand on a platform or act as a step while the other moves forward, and other times one of us needs to activate something so the other can get through. I like how quickly the game gets to the point because there is no complicated setup. It is basically about communication and figuring out what the level wants from both of us. The two player requirement is also what gives the game most of its personality. I cannot play through the levels properly by myself, so I actually have to work with another person rather than just controlling both characters. That can make even simple puzzles more entertaining because timing matters. One person might need to move at exactly the right moment while the other waits for an opening.
