Blade Strangers

I bought this game at launch. I even bought a switch copy of it that came with a Kawase keychain. I never really noticed the detail put into some of the characters until recently. Despite being a Solange main, I can't help but to enjoy the visual designs as well as the mechanics that a few of these characters have. More often then not when I try a certain character, I see what the devs were going for when creating each character. As someone who does like to play a little mind games, someone like Helen, Ali or Lina feel like great characters for me to main. Lina to me is my second favorite design wise as. Speaking of character design choices: Besides Lina being my favorite, my other favorites would have to be Curly, Shovel Knight as well as Piaa. The original characters made exclusively for this game are the type that inspire me to want to make characters based on them. I do like how simple this game feels and the ceiling is indeed very high based on my recollection of when this game was it's most active. The floaty feel is also something that did take a while for me to get used to as someone who plays fast paced anime fighting games so to me at the time was a breath of fresh air.…

Weird controls and bad netcode. Also the publisher is literally hitler.

This game is a kusoge but I had fun with it going for the achievements I could get through story mode and against the ai. It might be fun against people I wouldn't know I only played story mode. The story mode is incredibly flanderized and one note so honestly I highly advise skipping the cutscenes. It's very easy and each character essentially can abuse the same combos. I think for someone brand new to fighting games this could be a fun entry point. Having all the collab characters is cool even if I dislike the execution on almost all of them. Get for sale for $2. It is extremely dead so you won't get mp games.

Recommended on sale and if you are just wanting something new to try. Its not bad, there's just not a lot here.

Shovel Knight is best character... DOH-SEH!

No gallery, no biographies, barely any story, everybody plays the same combo flow, this crossover game lacks the bells and whistles for the fans.
