Sadly, I'm not able to continue the story as planned, because of this, the game's narrative has open ends and unresolved mysteries that I'd hoped to reveal later down the line. Although the story is incomplete, I hope you enjoy the first and only episode! Blake: The Visual Novel was my passion project as a solo dev and an amazing experience for me to create, it's something I will cherish forever and means a lot to me to share with you as a free experience for all! :) Thank you, Ori
Blake: The Visual Novel is a graphic novel-style, choice-based, psychological thriller.
Set in a tech-intelligent universe - become immersed in the perpetually rainy city of New Stone. Experience Blake’s journey as he encounters a clandestine nemesis, sparking a series of events that quickly force him to choose between losing his sanity or rising to the challenge. Make the right decisions and save the citizens of New Stone.

As far as visual novels go, the choices you make ultimately don't amount to much in the moment, with them barely being acknowledged until the tail end of the experience. While it's not the worst narrative- It's not particularily compelling as far as visual novels go.4 found this helpful

Really interesting visual novel, I like the art style too!
The fact that one person made this is VERY impressive. From reading the developers notes it's very easy to see that the person who made this suffers from classic imposter syndrom. He/she can't see their own talents. I'm only a little bit in but clearly you were meant make video games and I really hope you continue on your life's mission because it's a real shame to see talent go to waste just because some random people on the internet spew their negativity all over the place, I really hope you get back in there, learn from what ever mistakes you may or may not of made, adjust, adapt, grow and stick with it. Remember that it's the journey not destination that matters. Doing what you love is a rare and precious gift, don't give it up. Good Luck
I don't usually like futuristic visual novels.
Starts out okay, but as the novel progresses, the random plot element starts to pile up dangerously high, eventually leading to a nonsensical ending that fails to explain much. It seems the developer run out of time halfway through development and had to rush the second half just to deliver the product. Nice art though. 3/10
